Benton and Holly’s wedding at Stonebarn was a perfect example of why this venue is one of our favourite places to photograph weddings in the South West.
Located amongst the forests of Pemberton, Stonebarn offers couples the convenience of having everything in one location – from getting ready, to the ceremony, portraits and reception. This allows the day to flow naturally without the need for extra travel, giving couples more time to relax and enjoy their celebration.
Both Ben and Holly prepared for the day onsite before sharing an outdoor ceremony surrounded by the incredible natural landscape Stonebarn is known for. With multiple ceremony locations, private accommodation and a range of photo opportunities across the property, the venue gives us plenty of variety when capturing a wedding day.
One of the standout details from Holly and Benton’s wedding was Holly’s custom handmade gown and veil, created by her mother. These personal touches are what make each wedding unique and are always special to capture.
For portraits, Stonebarn offers endless options within walking distance. From the towering trees and forest paths to the dam and open countryside views, we can create a full collection of images without taking the couple away from their guests for too long. Knowing the property well allows us to make the most of the best locations and lighting throughout the day.
The reception continued inside Stonebarn with heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughs and a packed dance floor to finish the night.
