Some weddings are about glitz and glamour – but others, like this beautiful celebration in Bunbury and Australind, are grounded in what matters most: connection, love, and a life shared with those closest (including the furry family members).
From the very beginning, this couple planned a day that reflected them – family, friends nature, joy & especially odd socks.
They started the day with their beloved dogs by their side, sharing quiet moments at home before the festivities began. The dogs even joined in for the ceremony and the creative shoot, trotting happily along the familiar 8km route the couple often walks together.
Photographing them in that space — their favourite trail, with the bushland and estuary as the backdrop – was a perfect way to honour the everyday love that makes their relationship so beautiful.
The reception took place at Waters Edge in Bunbury, a laid-back, modern venue that felt just right for this couple’s vibe. With its views over the Inlet, it offered a relaxed, coastal atmosphere where guests could mingle, laugh, and soak up the last of the daylight.
But the real spark of the night? A fire dance performance by the couple themselves! As night fell, they lit up the evening — literally — with a fiery, choreographed show that had everyone cheering. It was creative, bold, and completely unexpected.
This wedding reminded us that the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that feel true to who you are. It was intimate, outdoorsy, joyful, and filled with personality — just like the couple.
