One of our favourite parts of the timeline here is that in-between moment, where guests are enjoying a drink outside while we sneak away with you for sunset photos. There’s something really special about waking up with your people, getting ready together, walking to your ceremony, and then winding down the next morning in the same place. It keeps everything relaxed, connected, and genuinely enjoyable.
Michelle & Dene’s wedding had that exact feel-easygoing, full of genuine moments, and completely stress-free. The timeline flowed without any pressure, and we were able to make the most of the light around the property without needing to rush. Mickey & Kieralee’s day was just as special, with that same laid-back energy and a focus on just being present with their people. Both weddings were completely different in style, but Eight Willows adapted effortlessly to each of them.
And that’s probably the best way to sum it up. Eight Willows Retreat gives you the space to create a wedding that actually feels like you-while also making sure it looks incredible in the process.
From our side as photographers, it’s an absolute dream to work at. The light is consistently beautiful, everything is close together, and there’s so much variety without needing to leave the venue. But more importantly, the relaxed atmosphere means couples can actually slow down and enjoy their day-and that always shows in the photos.
